In this work sample, I included one of my favorites from physics, the Maria Mayer research essay. In groups of two, we were instructed to research a famous physics person, write 2 similar (but not identical) essays without copying off each other. The essays had to be 3 pages, typed in MLA format. Writing the essay was quite the challenge with such a length. I did all I could to avoid run on sentences, keep grammar in check, and make sure my spelling wasn't too bad. One of the biggest struggles I had was I got writers block midway through, causing a slight delay in the writing portion. I did however manage to conquer the writers block, and kept going, finishing the essay a little early. It was through this that I was able to hone in on the 21st century skill, "Interpersonal Skills". While the essay was a challenge, it was one I overcame.
